The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry because a man read to the poem for a woman that he likes.

Ⅱ.Reaction
1.Rhyme
This poem has rhyme such as "June" and "tune", "sun" and "run". It gives the strong impression to a reader by rhyming, and a reader can imagine easily.

2.Metaphor
There are a lot of metaphors in this poem. A man liken to his lovers like a red rose, melody, the seas, the rocks, the sands.

3.Connotation
"Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun".
From this part, A man really loves to a woman.
