Reaction to “The Elevator”

The short film I chose summarize and react to is “The Elevator”. The genre of this film is comedy. A man takes an elevator, and it goes up. Then, fat people come and get it on. He worry about elevator's capacity.
Ⅱ.Reaction
1.Characters
The main character is a general man. Other character are general, too. They are not special.
2.Acting
The actors play simple. Fat people get on the elevator, and the man looks a puzzled expression.
3.Cinematography
This film project his face in the center. Whenever fat people get on, he embarrasses. This film is captured on his look.
Ⅲ.General opinion
I think this film's situation is real. Surely, fat people does not get on successively, but an elevator often becomes weight over. So, this film is expressed uneasy feelings well.

The short film I chose summarize and react to is “Sushi Love Exchange”. It was made in 2008.
This story is a story of a woman's heart moves from a man to the other man for sushi.

1.Characters
There are three characters in this story.
Grant is a Rock musician, and he loves a woman. One day, he fell in love with a woman at first sight. The woman's name is Avery. They go to dinner sushi bar, and enjoy talking. Grant loves Avery very much, but Avery's heart move from a Grant to sushi master.
2.Sound truck
This film was used a lot of sounds. It is match to film.

This film use English for subtitles. It is English that is easy to understand a movie.

I think Avery is bad girl, and she is simple person. Grant is poor man.

Reaction to “Peter Rabbit”

Ⅰ.Summary
The story that I chose to summarize and react to is “Peter Rabbit”. It was written by Beatrix Potter.
Once upon a time, there were four little rabbits. Their name is Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter. They lived with their mother. One day, their mother said them “Don't go into Mr. McGregor's garden”. And she went out to the bakers. Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail went to gather blackberries, and Peter went to Mr.McGregor's garden. Peter was found by Mr.Mcgregor and Peter was run away. But Peter lost his shoes and jacket. He could get away Mr.McGregor, but his jacket are used for scarecrow.

This story is loved from people of the world. It is easy to read, and Peter and other characters very cute, I think.

Reaction to “The Important Things in Life”
Ⅰ.Summary
The story I chose to summarize and react to is “The Important Things in Life” by Stephen.
A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter. The professor said to his student “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things - your family,your partner, your health, your children- things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter - like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff. The rest is just sand.”

A main character of this story is a philosophy professor. And his student appear it. He experimented with a mayonnaise jar to tell a important things of life.

The poem I chose to summarize and react to is “A Red Red Rose” by Robert Burns.
The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry because a man read to the poem for a woman that he likes.
Ⅱ.Reaction
1.Rhyme
This poem has rhyme such as "June" and "tune", "sun" and "run". It gives the strong impression to a reader by rhyming, and a reader can imagine easily.
2.Metaphor
There are a lot of metaphors in this poem. A man liken to his lovers like a red rose, melody, the seas, the rocks, the sands.
3.Connotation
"Till a' the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi' the sun".
From this part, A man really loves to a woman.

This poem and a man are very passionate. I think he calculated for close when he makes this poem, so I can imagine a woman and the scene.

The poem I chose the summarize and react to is “Remember Me” by Christina Rosetti.
The type of this poem seems to be lyric poetry because the author wishes to remember her. For example, “Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.”

This poem is very short, but theme is clear.
The title shows she wants to remember me for people always.
